Map Search Widget

The Map Search Widget lets visitors explore listings on an interactive map. It is available on Pro and Brokerage plans.

Map provider and tiles

The widget uses a high-quality vector tile provider with satellite and street view layers. Visitors can toggle between the two views from a control in the top corner of the map.

Interaction modes

• Pan and zoom - default mode. Results update automatically as the visitor moves the map.
• Boundary draw - visitor draws a freehand polygon on the map and results filter to listings inside that boundary.
• Radius search - visitor clicks a point on the map and chooses a radius in miles. All listings within the radius are returned.

Marker clustering

When many listings are visible at a low zoom level, the widget clusters nearby markers into a single circle badge showing the count. Clicking a cluster zooms the map to reveal the individual listings within it.

Combining with search filters

The map panel includes the same price, beds, and property type filters as the Search Widget. Filters applied in the panel update the map markers in real time without a page reload. Visitors can combine boundary draw or radius mode with any combination of filters.
