Privacy Policy

1. Overview

EasyAgentIDX (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides IDX search and listing tools that real estate professionals embed on their own websites. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our websites, dashboard, embedded widgets, and APIs (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, brokerage information, and billing details. Payment card information is processed by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

MLS provisioning information. To connect an MLS board we collect agent license numbers, office identifiers, brokerage details, and documents required by the MLS for feed approval.

Visitor information. When visitors interact with widgets embedded on our customers’ websites, for example by submitting an inquiry, registering to save a search, or requesting a home valuation, we collect the information they submit (such as name, email, and phone) on behalf of the customer whose site they used. That customer is the controller of this data; we process it to provide the Services.

Usage information. We automatically collect usage events (widget loads, searches, listing views), IP addresses, browser type, and device information to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
• Process subscriptions, payments, and MLS board provisioning
• Deliver leads, alerts, and notifications you configure
• Monitor usage, prevent abuse, and enforce MLS compliance rules
• Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
• Improve features, performance, and security

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use visitor lead data for our own marketing.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the dashboard, and limited analytics cookies to understand how our marketing site is used. Embedded widgets use local storage on the customer’s website only to support visitor features such as saved listings and saved searches. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us operate the platform (payment processing, email delivery, hosting, error monitoring), bound by confidentiality obligations
• MLS boards and data partners as required to provision and maintain approved IDX feeds
• Our customers, including leads and visitor activity captured through a customer’s widgets that are delivered to that customer
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights and users

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, billing, and MLS compliance purposes. Raw usage events are retained for approximately 90 days before being aggregated. Customers may request deletion of visitor lead data they control at any time.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Receive a portable copy of your information
• Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at team@easyagentidx.com. If a visitor submitted information through a customer’s website, we may direct the request to that customer as the data controller.

8. Security

We protect information with industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, role-based access controls, audit logging, and optional two-factor authentication for all accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage strong, unique passwords and enabling 2FA.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the dashboard or by email before they take effect. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
