Set Up Your Demo Site
Verify one agency demo website, connect its pages and complete publication checks.
Each approved agency can create one Demo Site to demonstrate IDX and Home Valuations on its own website. The demo uses the shared CRMLS feed through EAI-hosted requests. It is separate from paid client accounts and licensed customer websites.
Create the site
- Open Partner Resources > Demo Widgets and select the Demo Site setup action.
- Enter the demo name, public HTTPS domain and notification email.
- Create the website pages you intend to use and enter their published URLs.
- Choose the supported appearance settings and add your Google Maps browser key if you will use map widgets.
- Review the Demo Site responsibilities and save.
Use a dedicated demonstration website. The required search-engine settings apply to the configured demo domain and pages.
Verify ownership and disclosures
- Copy the exact ownership verification tag shown in Demo Site > Settings into your published site's head.
- Add the supplied demo disclosure to the site's top bar and footer. Keep it visible and preserve the verification attributes in the supplied snippets.
- Add the supplied noindex settings to the initial HTML and remove demo pages from sitemaps.
- Follow the displayed robots instructions to disallow crawling once the applicable noindex and removal steps are complete.
- Run the verification checks and resolve any items shown before publication.
The disclosures identify the website as an EasyAgentIDX live demonstration using real CRMLS data. Apply them through your website builder's global header, footer and head settings where supported.
If the domain is already indexed
Select This domain already appears in search engines to show the search-removal instructions. Crawlers need access to see noindex before a blanket robots block prevents crawling. Complete the removal steps shown in the account and then confirm the required state.
Set the email destination
Use the notification email for demonstration inquiries. If a new address requires verification, complete that verification before expecting delivery to change. Keep demo contacts separate from a real client's CRM.
Build and publish the widgets
Follow Demo Widgets and Leads to create the three core widgets and copy the remaining embed codes. Previews help you style widgets before publication, while public data and form access depend on the site's verified state.
Change or remove the site
Changing a domain or connected page URLs can require verification again. To move to a new demo domain, use Delete Demo Site in Settings and confirm the domain, then create the replacement. Deletion removes the demo's associated records and revokes the old widgets. Remove the old embeds from your website.
