Credit System
Each AHV tier comes with a monthly credit allotment. Credits control how many valuation reports can be generated per billing period.
What counts as one credit
One credit is consumed when a homeowner completes the contact capture step and the platform reveals their valuation result and PDF report. Visitors who enter an address but abandon the form before submitting their contact information do not consume a credit.
Duplicate prevention
If the same property address is submitted more than once within the same minute, only the first request counts as a credit. Subsequent requests within that window reuse the cached result without consuming an additional credit. This protects against accidental double-submissions.
What happens at zero credits
When your monthly credit pool reaches zero, the AHV widget displays a message stating that the valuation service is temporarily unavailable. The address search and loading animation do not trigger. No new leads are captured through the widget until credits are replenished at the start of your next billing period.
Credit usage notifications
You receive email notifications as your credit usage approaches the limit:
- 50% used - an informational heads-up that you are halfway through your monthly credits.
- 80% used - a usage warning to prompt you to consider upgrading.
- 100% used - a final notification that credits are exhausted and the widget is temporarily unavailable.
For agency-managed accounts, these notifications go to the agency partner administrator, not the client account owner.
Upgrading your AHV tier
Upgrading from Basic to Plus or Pro takes effect immediately. The new credit pool is set to the full allotment of the new tier. The cost difference is prorated for the remainder of the current billing period.
