Sites and Domains
Add a website, verify domain control and connect the pages used by your IDX widgets.
A site identifies the website where you publish EAI widgets or use the Developer API. Add the actual public domain before installation.
Add and verify a site
- Open Settings > Sites and choose Add site.
- Enter your website domain and select the intended environment.
- Install a widget assigned to the website, or copy the verification meta tag shown for an API-only website into the homepage head.
- Publish the homepage and select Verify.
Verification confirms domain control. MLS approval is still required for live listing access. Starter and Pro include one website. Brokerage supports additional approved domains, with their applicable approval and recurring fees.
Connect your page URLs
Create published pages for search, listing details and any visitor or agent experiences you use. Enter those URLs in the relevant widget settings. For example, the homepage search bar opens your Full Search Page URL and a listing grid opens your Listing Detail Page URL.
Keep these links on the approved website and update them when you change your site's page structure. See Listing Detail Page.
Troubleshoot verification
Check that the homepage is publicly reachable over HTTPS, the tag or assigned widget appears in the published source and caching has refreshed. Use the domain your visitors actually open, including the intended www version.
Agency demo websites
Demo Sites use their own ownership challenge, disclosure and search-engine checks. Set up the domain inside Demo Site > Settings using the partner demo instructions.
